Caring Chloe

May 15, 2019 | Moore Care

Hey there Baton Rouge! I’m coming to you live from my sofa. It is pretty comfy, and it is where I spend most of my time when I’m not out working. I love sitting here and watching the cars go by, but lately I’ve been thinking I need to put my free time to better use. So, I have decided to start this blog where I can write a little something each month to honor our hard working caregivers, maybe recognize a few special seniors, and share some cool industry information.

Let me start by telling you all about my job! It is pretty cool, I get to spend the day licking lots of different people, which might sound weird to most of you readers, but trust me, the seniors that I work with love it. If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m a dog! Yep, people tell i’m special and pretty cute, but whatever, I just like my job and all the cool people I’ve gotten to meet.

Now that you know a little bit about me, let me tell you more about the world of Moore Care:

Recently a bunch of our caregivers attended a gala for #Empower225 . This is a really cool organization that helps children that have aged out of the foster care system. How cool is that?? If you want to learn more about this organization, you can check out their website https://empower225.org/

Here’s a pic of our team at the event! Nothing better then having fun while supporting a great cause.

In other news, we are debunking a common myth when it comes to senior care: That Hospice Care is a death sentence. Hospice Care is a wonderful service that provides comfort and care for a specify sector of patients. When you or a loved one choose Hospice, it does not mean that you have given up, and it definitely does not speed up death! There are many wonderful Hospice Care providers in the Baton Rouge area that can assist clients in need of this level of care. You can read more about this topic here

That’s all for now folks! I’ve got to get back to watching those cars pass by, peace!

Love,
